What is the difference between full lift and low lift safety relief valve?we give you a brief introduction about the full lift and low lift safety relief valve.
Full lift
safety relief valve: when the static pressure at the entrance of the safety relief valve reaches the setting pressure, the disc will rise to the maximum height and discharge the over-pressure medium in the maximum extent.Commonly full lift safety relief valve is used in compressible fluids.Disc raised height should not be less than 1/4 of throat height.
Low lift safety relief valve: when the static pressure at the entrance of the safety relief valve reaches the setting pressure, the disc position increases proportionately with the increase of the inlet pressure, and discharge the over-pressure medium in the maximum extent.Generally Low lift safety relief valve is used for non-compressible fluids. The maximum disc raised height is not less than 1/20-1/40 of the throat.
